Six months as Alight Solutions: looking back at 2017 and ahead to 2018

December 20, 2017 Christy Lukes

It’s been a whirlwind year for Alight Solutions. In June 2017, our new brand was revealed to the world, just a few months after the announcement that Aon was divesting its outsourcing business to private equity firm Blackstone.

Since the February announcement, our solutions have been recognized by notable global analyst firms including:

“In particular Alight has received high marks for its innovation and creativity as well as its ability to deliver business benefits.”

We’re deeply honored by the recognition, but also aware that it means nothing if we don’t continue to develop our technology and our service capabilities. In 2018, we’ll focus on continued innovation in these areas, as well as creating an engaging user experience.

The potential for growth in the areas of HR & Financial Solutions and Health & Wealth Solutions are major parts of Blackstone’s investment in Alight Solutions. Industry analysts are watching to see if we deliver, as Amy Gurchensky outlines in a recent NelsonHall blog.

“It’s clear that Alight’s 2018 vision will include a heavy emphasis on technological developments, especially with the front-end user experience, which is pivotal to address wider business issues as well as expectations from an increasingly diverse workforce.”

At the end of the day, our success is measured by our clients’ successes. In 2018, we look forward to strengthening partnerships with clients and delivering on their high expectations of the technology experience.
